Beach start 50m south of the pier. Swim 200m east to the first yellow buoy, turn left past a red buoy to the second yellow buoy, then straight back to the beach finish. Age groups: 10 & Under through 80+.
Beach start 50m north of the pier. Swim east 75m to buoy 1, south 300m, northeast 400m, northwest 400m, south 300m, then 75m west to the beach finish. Age groups: 14 & Under through 80+.
Race day morning on the beautiful Atlantic coast. Warm water, ocean swells, and the energy of South Florida's swim community.
The Pompano Mile — 1.5 KM course starting and finishing at the beach near Pompano Beach Pier.

The Pompano Beach Pier divides the venue into North and South Beach. South Beach hosts Registration, Check-In, the Official Table, Competitor Tents & Team Areas, the Swimmers Pin area, and the Starting Line. The Awards Stand and Announcer are on the Pier. North Beach features the Finishing Chute and Finish Line.
